About Tera Anderson

Nevada is a state built on vision, grit and an unstoppable spirit—and it deserves leadership that rises to meet its promise.

Tera Anderson sees more than just the challenges our community faces—she sees its extraordinary and untapped potential.

She’s running for Congress because, like so many Nevadans, she’s had enough of the middle-school-food-fight of modern-day politics that hold us back. Tera believes it’s time to replace the chaos with common sense, and the division with solutions that actually serve the people.

With a clear vision and the courage to lead, Tera is ready to bring principled governance, practical ideas, and a renewed sense of purpose to Washington—because Nevada deserves better.

Tera Anderson is a proud second-generation native Nevadan and businesswoman with a clear vision and real-world experience to serve our state.

Her deeps roots inspire her dedication to community. Tera understands the unique challenges and incredible promise of our region. With 20 years of experience in land and economic development, she’s helped shape thriving communities—supporting jobs, growth, and opportunity across commercial, industrial, housing, and hospitality sectors.

Now, she’s ready to bring that same drive and expertise to Congress. Tera’s campaign is about more than politics—it’s about building a stronger Nevada where families flourish, businesses grow, and everyone has a voice in shaping what’s next.

Service isn’t just something Tera Anderson does—it’s who she is.

With a heart for community and a lifelong commitment to making a difference, Tera has dedicated herself to causes that matter. She’s led as President of the City of Las Vegas Neighborhood Association, stood up for vulnerable children as a volunteer advocate in the foster care system, and helped guide educational progress as a Board Trustee for both the CASA Foundation and the Public Education Foundation.

Tera has served as a volunteer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and Homeland Security. She is also a proud alum of Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce Leadership Las Vegas program.

Every role she’s taken reflects one mission: to uplift, protect, and empower the people of Nevada.

Anderson is proud to call Las Vegas home—but she knows Nevada can do better. Nevadans are facing real challenges: the rising cost of living, a shortage of affordable housing, declining graduation rates, increasing crime, and small businesses weighed down by red tape. These aren’t just headlines—they’re everyday realities for hardworking families. And Tera knows these challenges can be solved—with the right leadership in Congress.

She’s not interested in party games or political machines. She’s running to restore
focus where it belongs: on the people of Nevada.

Tera brings fresh ideas, a pragmatic approach, and the kind of grit that defines Nevada. She believes in common-sense solutions and community-centered decision-making that puts quality of life first—for families, students, small business owners, and seniors alike. Her mission is simple: to help Nevada thrive as a place where everyone has the opportunity to live, work, and build a better future.

A proud graduate of Durango High School, Tera holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and international relations from the University of Puget Sound, an Executive MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a master’s in science in Construction Management from ASU.

She’s ready to get to work—for Nevada.
